Helena A. Bohaty 90, Seward, widow of Edward A., died Sunday (6/1/08). Born April 7, 1918, northwest of Loma, Neb. Longtime choir member and Church organist for St. Luke's Catholic Church-Loma; Member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church-Seward. Survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Melvin Lindner, Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Brenda Bohaty, Overland Park, Kan.; grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and Frank Loos; Chris and Lindsey Lindner; Brent Bohaty and Bree Bohaty; sisters and brother-in-law, Marge Gubser, Clara Karpisek and Leona and Joe Petrzilka, all of Lincoln; Bernice Houska, Wahoo; sisters-in-law, Etta Bartek, Lincoln; and Mary Bartek, David City; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Frank and Christina Teresa (Kriz) Bartek; her husband, Edward A.; and brothers, Ted and Rudy Bartek. Visitation: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday (6/4/08); 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday (6/5/08), all at Zabka Funeral Home, Seward; and one hour prior to services at the Church on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial: 9:30 a.m. Friday (6/6/08) at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Seward. Msgr. Myron Pleskac, celebrant. Rosary: 7 p.m. Thursday (6/5/08) at Zabka Funeral Home, Seward.
