June 10, 1923 - February 21, 2024 Margaret (Bartek) Gubser of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on February 21, 2024. Born at home in Loma, Nebraska to Ralph and Christina Bartek on June 10, 1923. Her husband Glenn preceded her in death on May 22, 1997. Margaret was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church since 1961, where she was involved in many church activities. Margaret and Glenn enjoyed camping, playing cards, Mahjong, horse and dog racing, and the occasional trips to Vegas with family and friends. Survivors include daughters Carol and Bob Griess of Florence, MT, Monica and Dave Hansen of Lincoln, Carla and Mike Olson of Abilene, TX, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, sister, Bernice Houska of Wahoo, NE, brother-in-law, Joseph Petrzilka of Lincoln, and many loving nieces and nephews. Viewing 5-7 pm Sunday with family present 6-7 pm at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home. Rosary 10 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street, Lincoln.
