Bio

She is a daughter of Orson Albert Miner(1874-1949) and Nancy Rebecca (Brady) Miner (1875-1948). She was married to Rulon Stewart Rasmussen (1905-1985). ========== Floral Miner Rasmussen, 86, of Monroe, Utah died February 20, 1993 in Richfield, Utah. She was born November 17, 1906 in Fairview, Utah to Orson Albert and Nancy Brady Miner. She married Rulon Stewart Rasmussen November 28, 1928 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died September 21, 1985. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she has served in all the auxilliary organizations. She and her husband were ordinance workers in the Manti Temple for eight years. She was a member of the DUP and participated in many social clubs and organizations She is survived by two sons, Bishop Gene Rasmussen and wife Marilyn, Twin Falls, Idaho; Lloyd Rasmussen and wife Sharon, president of the Eugene, Oregon LDS Mission; 10 grandchildren, Lori Roper, Denise Gregory, Patti Haire, Gina Rasmussen, Dan Rasmussen, Douglas Rasmussen, Shari Francis, Susan Carter, David Rasmussen, Sandi Rasmussen; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Izetta Black, Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rulon; son, Ronald; six brothers, Vern, Ace, Alma, Vanoi, Milo, Parker; one sister, Becky. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 1993 at 11 a.m. in the Monroe 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 49 East 200 North, Monroe. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary in Richfield on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Monroe on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
