Bio
Jean Vachal, age 69, passed away on June 25, 2024 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born July 23, 1954 to Charles and Letha (Nabity) Jisa in Wichita Falls, TX. Jean lived in Omaha, NE the majority of her life until moving to La Vista in 1987. Jean loved spending time with her children (Sonja, Tony and Joe) and her precious grandchildren. She also loved her pittbulls Fred and Zoe. She enjoyed camping, gardening and her beautiful flowers. Also riding on their Harley with her husband Tony. Jean is survived by children, Sonja Troutman (Craig Henning), Tony Lee Jr., (Ashley) Vachal, Joe Vachal (Ashley Stroyek); grandchildren, Stephen, Shelton, Liberty, Amelia, Ally and Anna. Sisters, Ruth Nolan (Tim), Joan Standeven (Rich) and Jane Bober, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her gentle sweet nature and her beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony Vachal and sister Rose Zaracki. Interment: Ridgewood Cemetery at a later date. The family will direct memorials.
