Bio

Thelma Luceal Marrott Olsen, 97, of Orem, passed away peacefully Monday, May 26, 2008. She was born Mar. 3, 1911 in Orem, UT to Arthur William and Clara Alice Rodeback Marrott. She married Rodney G. Olsen in Salt Lake City on Sept. 18, 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. If she wasn't gardening she was crocheting or doing some other kind of needlework. She was secretary of her ward for 21 years, and loved her church callings. Thelma loved to be with family, and do things for them. She always had a smile on her face and loved it when someone came to visit. She is survived by her children, Dorothy D. Lowe, Springville, Barbra (Earl) Copfer, West Valley City and Glen L. Olsen, Provo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney G. Olsen, two infant children, Colleen and Edward, son, Stanley R. Olsen, sister, Zella Ingram and brother, LeRoy Marrott.
