Bio
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ricky Lynn Featherston on June 16, 2024. Ricky Featherston was born the first son of Charley and Mary Featherston on January 26, 1954 in Ennis Texas. He worked at Tyler Pipe in maintenance ending his career as a supervisor in a company that he enjoyed working at for forty three years. Ricky enjoyed riding motorcycles and off-road Jeep adventures with the East Texas Jeep Club; both of these activities he enjoyed doing with his sons who were his world. Ricky is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ginger Featherston; his sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick & Polly Featherston and David & Jessica Featherston; favorite grandson who was the light of his life, Adron Featherston, along with Adron's mother, Nicholle, who was like a daughter to Ricky. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Lisa Merritt; brother-in-law, Paul Merritt; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Charley Adron & Mary Featherston; brother, Dicky Featherson; and sister, Deb Thiel. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Serenity Springs, 3865 FM 858 Ben Wheeler, Texas 75754. Obit From Hillard F. H. Van, TX.
