Martin Buchanan GILMER - Graveside services for Martin Buchanan, 90, of Gilmer, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County, with the Rev. Donnie Chamberlin officiating. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Buchanan died Saturday, January 22, 2011, at a Gilmer nursing home. Born March 2, 1920, in Carthage, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a retired forklift driver for Gilmer Pottery and a Baptist. Survivors include his sons, Mickey Martin, Dickie Wayne and Don Buchanan; daughter, June Ellen Phillips; brother, Doyle "Pete" Buchanan; and sister, Irene Wallace Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, January 24, 2011, at the funeral home.
