Parents: John and Martha Elizabeth (Goodson) Buchanan. Served in United States Army WW II Doyal Buchanan, 87, of Longview Texas passed away Sunday July 21, 2013. Doyal was born November 25, 1925 to John and Martha E. Buchanan in Carthage Texas. Doyal was a Baptist. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Doyal is preceded in death by his parents John Buchanan and Martha Elizabeth Goodson-Buchanan and by his daughter Judy Fleet. Doyal is survived by his wife Elizabeth E. Buchanan; his son and daughter in law Don and Ruth Buchanan; 6 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Celebration to be held at the home of Don Buchanan 2493 N. Live Oak Rd in Big Sandy Texas on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 2:00pm.
