Sharon Rose Benes, 71, of Lincoln passed away June 24, 2024, in Nebraska City. Born August 4, 1952, in Lincoln, NE to Andrew and Lucille (Jirovsky) Benes. Sharon was a registered nurse for many years. Family members include her sister JoAnn (Larry) Hermance, Montana; brothers Don Benes, Denton, NE and Dale Benes, Lincoln, NE; 6 nieces and 4 nephews; many great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Gaspers and her significant friend Dennis Lavelle . A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 'O' Street.
