Cora Lee Naumann of Brenham, Tx. died peacefully on May 23, 2024 at the age of 91. Cora was born April 10, 1933 in Brenham, Tx. to Cora Stegmann and Walter Korth, Sr. She was baptized at Eben Ezer Lutheran Church on May 28, 1933 and confirmed there on September 22, 1946. Cora's confirmation verse was: John 5:24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." Cora was married to J.F. Naumann at Eben Ezer Lutheran Church on May 23, 1953. Cora was a graduate of Brenham High School class of 1951 and had a career in banking working at Pinemont Bank in Houston, Tx. She worked as a Supervisor and as Asst. Vice President for 25 yrs. Cora enjoyed watching and feeding birds, along with dancing and playing cards with family and friends. Cora was blessed with and survived by nieces and nephews: Linda and Howard Ray of Houston, David and Callie Korth, James and Sherry Korth, Christie Korth, Kimberly and David Thompson, Dick and Barbara Dietzman, all of Brenham, Michael Korth of Houston and sister-in-law, Judy Korth Rudloff of Brenham. Cora was preceded in death by her husband, J.F. Naumann, son, Ray Naumann, parents, Walter and Cora Korth Sr.; brothers, Howard Korth, Walter Korth Jr.; sister, Ruth Adams, brother-in-law, Hubert Adams, sister-in-law, Carolyn Korth and nephew, Keith Korth. Visitation will be from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Prairie Lea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: David Korth, James Korth, Michael Korth, Cary Dietzman, Teagan Thompson and David Thompson. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church or Hospice Brazos Valley. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main St., Brenham, Tx. 77833
