Mrs. ADDIE FAYE (BELL) CURREY-ALFORD was the daughter of William Isaac "Willie" Bell and Mrs. Laura (Smith) Bell. Obituary "Faye Currey Alford, 93, of Daingerfield, was born on October 26, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, to W.I. and Laura Bell. She passed away on Sunday morning, April 14, 2024, at her home in Daingerfield. Faye grew up in Argo where she attended Cookville schools and Liberty Hill Baptist Church. She loved working on the farm helping in the garden and milking cows. She worked for Mount Pleasant Independent School District where she served for over 30 years as the cafeteria manager at Vivian Fowler Elementary School. She loved cooking, gardening and flowers of all kind. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Fred Alford; a grandson, Tom "T.J." Belew; a sister, Lucille B. Graham; and two brothers, Louis W. Bell and Howard S. Bell. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Currey of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Dianne Currey Belew and husband Thomas Edward Belew Sr. of Rockwall; a granddaughter, Lacy Robertson and husband, Heath, of Midland; great-grandsons, Mason, Jase, Carter; a sister, Willie Jean Chipman of Longview; and her special furry companion, "CoCo". A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, in Argo, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 4138 Farm-To-Market 1001, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, with Mark White of Daingerfield Church Of Christ and Bro. Greg Antley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m. prior to the service at the church."
