Bio

Bonnie Lou Jones, born in Halletsville on September 26, 1949 to the late William and Doris Hilderbrent Heidrich, passed away April 29, 2024 in El Campo at the age of 74. Bonnie was a cafeteria worker for El Campo ISD and also worked at McDonald's and Dairy Queen. She is survived by son, Steven Jones of Edna; daughter, Beverly Miller and husband Delton of Louise; sisters, Arlene Koch of Wittig, Tx., Grace Lowery of Bay City, Jane Cole of Van Vleck; 5 grandchildren, Dana Jones, Jarrett Jones, Cheyanne Jones, Faith Jones and Luke Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Doris Heidrich; brother, Glen Heidrich; sisters, Patsy Allen and Peggy Vacilin. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Memorial service celebrating Bonnie's life will begin at 2 PM with Pastor David Kight officiating.
