Marty Harding, 78, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Hearthstone in York. Marty's wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Aurora Cemetery. Marlene "Marty" E. Harding, the daughter of Richard and Esther (Borowski) Otterstein was born at Lawton, Oklahoma on August 23, 1945 and passed away at York, Nebraska on April 30, 2024 at the age of 78. Marlene grew up south of Cozad, Nebraska and graduated from Cozad High School in 1963. Marty married Paul Harding on February 27, 1965. They had four children: Steve, Paul, Shelly and Nichole. They moved to Aurora in 1970. She fostered teen girls from 1974 until 2011. When Marty obtained a group home license in 1996, her husband, Paul, joined her in this work until 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Paul Harding of Aurora; two sons, Steve (Chanell) Harding of Folsom, CA and Paul A. (Cheryl) Harding of Grand Island; two daughters, Shelly (Paul) Graham of Aurora and Nichole Harding of Grand Island; 8 grandchildren, Alicia Graham, Grant Harding, Hailie Harding, Madison (AJ) Corado, Dakota Beacom, Madelyn Harding, Ciara Beacom and Isaac Graham; 2 great-grandchildren, Amias and Azalea and other relatives and friends.
