Bio
Dorothy Mae Vastine Moses, 95, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Dorothy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and Earl worked together in retail for years, they owned Moses True Value, formerly known as Otasco Auto Lec. After retiring, she loved to go to the lake and sit on the porch with her dog, Baby Girl and watch the birds and hear the winds talk to her. Dorothy was very close to her family and is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, her daughter, her brother, her grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrus Earl Moses, Sr.; parents, George and Martha Vastine; brother, Arthur Vastine and Allie Ruth Vastine; sister, Annie Louise Wood and William Wood.
