Bio
Mildred was welcomed into Heaven in the early hours of April 15, 2024 with family by her side. She was born in Ennis, TX on March 20, 1937 and lived most of her life in Alma, Texas. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Emil and Antonie Jakubik, grandson, Billy Ray Melton, and her husband of 60 years, William (Bill) Marusak. Mildred was very proud of her Czech heritage and also enjoyed baking, quilting, gardening and all her flowers, as well as camping and fishing. Being the loving Matriarch of this large family, she will be greatly missed. Her wisdom and humor will live on in each of us. We are comforted in the knowledge that she is no longer in pain and we will, one day, see her again in Heaven. Interment When: Saturday, April 20th, 2024 Location: St. Joseph Cemetery Address W.
