Eardie Patrick ROBERTSON married Clara Mae Carwile in Limestone County, Alabama on 14 February 1923. Clara Mae Carwile was the daughter of Noise Carwile and Ora Mae Gatlin Carwile. Eardie and Clara were the parents of one child; Lorene Estelle ROBERTSON, born 29 June 1924. Lorene Estelle Robertson married Jesse B. HAMMOCK on 24 May 1941. Erdie Patrick ROBERTSON was fatally injured when he went out from his home to stop a fight on the sidewalk in front of his home in Kenton, Kentucky on June 2, 1925. According to the Commonwealth of Kentucky "Certificate of Death" he "was cut across the abdoman with a knife and sev side and back. HOMOCIDE. After the death of Erdie Patrick ROBERTSON, Clara Mae CARWILE moved back to Limestone County, Alabama to live with her father Noise CARWILE. Clara Mae CARWILE died in February 1928 at age 20. She is buried at Hester Cemetery in Lester, Limestone County, Alabama. After her death Clara Mae CARWILE'S father Noise CARWILE took their daughter Estelle Lorene ROBERTSON into his home and raised her to adulthood. Noise CARWILE and his third wife Lula Cornelia TURNER also had an older daughter named Lorene so they called them "Big Lorene" and "Little Lorene" for a time; then dropped the "Lorene" and nicknamed them "Big" and "Little". They went by the name Big and Little for several decades. A lot of the later cousins did not know the real name of Big and Little.
