Obituary (From the Lucas Funeral Home website): Wade Douglas Bostic, 76, of Grapevine Texas, has joined our loving Creator on Friday, November 27th, 2020, at his home. He was born December 13, 1943, in Prosper, Texas, to Ruben Bostic and Mattie Sexton-Bostic. Surviving are his loving wife of forty years Cindy and his two devoted children, son Sammy of Denver and daughter and son-in-law, Ashley & Elvin Herrera of Fort Worth. Doug was an Army veteran serving his country in Vietnam. After his service in the military ended, he returned to Texas, where he eventually began work as a welder for over 25 years. In 2009 he retired and began his love affair with collecting Hot Wheels. When that waned all his attention went to Texas Lottery scratch offs. Although he never hit the "Big One", it was something he genuinely enjoyed. However, his greatest joy was always his family. We will love him and miss him forever. The graveside service will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, December 3rd at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery located in Colleyville, Texas.
