Obituary (from the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow funeral home website): Frances "Darlene" Wilson, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in Denton. She was born in Aubrey, Texas, to Ruben Wallace "Dude" Bostic and Mattie Loraine (Sexton) Bostic. After high school, Darlene attended The Comptometer School of Dallas and had a career in accounting with various companies in DFW. She married Billy Ray Wilson on March 2, 1951, and they had three children. Darlene enjoyed many creative hobbies. She was a skilled seamstress and painted beautiful landscapes. Darlene was dearly loved and will be missed by all those who knew her. Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Scoggins and Karen Hughes, and her son, Scott Wilson and his wife, Donna; her six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Leetta Bass. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Ray Wilson; her brothers, Eldon Bostic and Douglas Bostic; and her son-in-law, Richard Scoggins. The family invites you to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service at Rowlett Cemetery, Rowlett Cemetery Rd. N., Plano will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
