Bio

Harvey Lemoine McGaughy was born on April 21, 1908, in Marlow, Oklahoma, his father, Harvey Lee, was 40 and his mother, Rosa Graham McGaughy, was 34. He married Phletis Arlene Day on December 8, 1935 in Wheeler, Texas. They had one son and one daughter. He served in the US Army from August 5, 1917 until May 7, 1919. He entered the military with training at Ft. Bliss, Texas. He died on March 6, 1979, in Pampa, Texas, at the age of 70, and was buried there.
