O.A. (Curley) McGaughy, 56, of 1019 Ripley, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home with Rev. Ennis Hill, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens. Born May 7, 1898, in Duncan, Okla., Mr. McGaughy was a resident of Pampa for 28 years. He was a toolpusher for R.W. Adams and Son, drilling contractors. A member of the First Methodist Church, Marlow, Okla., he was a veteran of World War I and was a past commander of the Pampa American Legion Post. He was reared in Marlow. Surviving are his wife, Josie; his mother, Mrs. Rosie McGaughy, Marlow; a brother, Lemoine, Pampa; and a sister, Mrs. Vera Lee Smith, Marlow.
