Bio

Lula Ray, 98, of Orange passed away at The Meadows. She was the daughter of Ben and Mary Adeline (Simmons) Walles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Payton Bland Peveto; sons, Harry E. Peveto and Benny Peveto; daughter, Mary Lou Burt; brothers, Claude Walles, Trave Walles, and Woodrow Walles; and sisters, Ruby Lee Waldrep, Gladys Davis, Hazel Honeycutt, and Wilrey Hock. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter-in-law, Doris Peveto; sisters, Rena Waldrep, Rose Myrtle Hancock and Adeline Hanks; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
