Bio

Janie Lorene Littlejohn Shuler, 92, a homemaker, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: 2 p.m. in Richland Cemetery, Mertens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Janie was born July 5, 1915, in Hubbard. She resided in Lake Worth for 40 years. She was predeceased by her first husband of 50 years, Joseph M. Littlejohn, in 1982; her second husband of 12 years, Ernest G. Shuler, in 1996; grandson, Stuart Littlejohn, in 1988; stepson, Mike Shuler, in 1995; and son-in-law, Lee Hagmann, in 2006. The family would like to thank Autumn Leaves Assisted Living in Arlington and HCR Manor Care for the wonderful care given Janie. Survivors: Sons, Cecil Littlejohn and wife, Gerry, of Arlington, Jim Littlejohn of California and Sam Littlejohn and wife, Dean, of Saginaw; daughters, Mary Jernigan of Lakeside and Ann Hagmann of North Richland Hills; stepdaughter, Glenda Cano of San Antonio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
