Corsicana Daily Sun (Corsicana, TX); 24 Jun 1958 Mrs. Ira L. Stokes Dies in Dallas, Rites Wednesday Mrs. Ira L. Stokes, aged 60, native of Emhouse, died in the Oak Cliff Medical and Surgical Clinic in Dallas Monday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 PM from the Corley Chapel. Burial will be in the Pattison Cemetery near Emhouse. The rites will be conducted by Rev. Van P. Morrison, Methodist minister, Graham, and Rev. Foy Thomas, Dallas. Surviving are her husband of Dallas; two sons, Richard Stokes USAF, Fort Worth, and Robert E. Stokes, U.S. Marine Corps, San Mateo, Calif.; five grandchildren; eight brothers, Roy DeRusha, Hereford; Clay DeRusha, Blooming Grove; G.I. and Ed DeRusha, both of Plainview; Charles R. DeRusha, Corsicana; G.W. DeRusha, Odessa; Robert Welch, Athens, and Hubert Welch, Grapeland; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Harris, Corsicana; Mrs. Florence Wetzel, Odessa; Mrs. Millard Boyd, Athens, and Mrs. Willie Jo King, Dallas, and other relatives. ________________________________________ Daughter of Henry G.
