Memorial services for Dixie Weinlaub, age 66, of Bee, Nebraska will be 11:00 a.m. May 4, 2024, at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden, Nebraska. Dixie died Monday, February 5, 2024, at her residence. Dixie Weinlaub, daughter of Glen and Shirley Battershaw, was born July 26, 1957, in Albion, Nebraska. She attended Elkhorn Valley High School in Tilden, Nebraska. Dixie was united in marriage to Dean Weinlaub on September 3, 2016, at Bee, Nebraska. She was blessed with five children, Jen Weinlaub, Steven Weinlaub, Mike Cejka, Adam Cejka, and Dustin Cejka. Dixie is survived by her husband, Dean of Bee; children, Adam (Andrea) Cejka of Lakewood, Colorado, Dustin (Danielle) Cejka of Lincoln, Mike Cejka of Lincoln, Jen Weinlaub of Omaha, and Steve Weinlaub of St. Port Lucia, Florida; eight grandchildren; and siblings, Debbie (Tim) Schmitz of Tilden, Ruth (Frank) Farmer of Weston, Tim (Cathy) Battershaw of Columbus, Randy (Gina) Battershaw of Norfolk, Tammie (Scott) Hogan of Columbus, and Susan Battershaw of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Shirley Battershaw; sister, Sarah Battershaw; and two brothers, Jeffrey Battershaw in infancy and Tony Battershaw.
