Bio
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ira F Lindemann, 86, of Temple was held Tuesday, July 17 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Temple with Rev Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial was at St Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor. Rosary was recited July 16 at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. He died Saturday July 14 in a Temple nursing home. Ira F Lindemann was born in Holland to Herbert E and Tony Frederick Lindemann. He was a pharmacist at Marek Pharmacy, and married Val H Mikeska on July 16, 1956. They were married more than 50 years. Lindemann graduated from the University of Texas and served in the medical corps during World War II, and was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Temple. Survivors include his wife of Temple; and two brothers, Franklin Lindemann of Magnolia and Jimmy Lindemann of Spring.
