Cecelia Anderson, 75, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center. Cecelia Gloria Dawn King was born June 24, 1932 on a farm near Reddick, Illinois, the daughter of James and Hazel (Huber) King. She graduated from Reddick High School in 1950, then St. Joseph's Hospital School in Bloomington, IL and School of Technical Psychiatric in Peoria, IL. She was then employed at the Peoria State Hospital. She married Vernon Anderson on November 20, 1954 at Goodrich, IL. For 12 years they were on the road with Stake Construction Company. They moved to Lennox in 1965, where she had been employed at the Good Samaritan Center from 1968 to 1995 and at Younkers in Sioux Falls since 1996, where she continued partime employment. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; ten children, Regina Johnson, Tea, Patrick (Shawn), Tea, Rebecca (Scott) Hofer, Sioux Falls, Michael, Lennox, Rachell (Todd) Murra, Sioux Falls, Joseph (Karen), Harrisburg, Casey (Michelle), Tea, Reshia (Anthony) Nickles, Sioux Falls, Robin Anderson, Sioux Falls, and Kelly, Gulf Breeze, FL; 20 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and four siblings, lone Cross, Bethel Coplea, Dethada Usry and Gladys Jean Peters, all in Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Richard Vernon, in 1955; a daughter-in-law, Carole Anderson in 2006; a sister, Regina; and a brother, Richard.
