Noel Clark Devey ~~~ Fruit Heights -- Noel Clark Devey, 76, passed away Jan. 15, 1992 in Bountiful hospital. He was born July 8, 1915 in Lehi, Utah to Joseph Franklin and Mary Ruth Okey Devey. He married Fontella Alger, Dec. 20, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Longtime resident of Bountiful, he served an LDS Church mission in Tahiti, served four and one-half years in the Armed Forces during World War II, graduate of Benjamin Franklin University in accounting, a faithful member of the LDS Church, served in bishopric and other church callings. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Survived by wife, Fontella, and children: Carla and Stephen Curtis, Woods Cross; Steven R. Devey, Bountiful; Dean A. Devey, Salt Lake City; Gay Lynn and Scott Child, South Jordan; Lu-Ann Devey, Price; Mary Hatch, Bountiful; Glenna Langford, West Valley; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Wallace Devey, Midvale. Preceded in death by son Wayne Clark Devey. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard Stake Center, 3599 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning 9:45 -10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
