Bio
Dean A. Devey, age 45, died November 16, 1998 at his sisters home in Price. Born September 13, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Noel and Fontella Devey. He grew up in Bountiful and turned down an art scholarship to serve and LDS mission in upstate New York. He had a passion for land development and real estate. He single handedly built a home from the ground up for which he was very proud. He was a very kind and giving individual who always tried to do good for other people even after he became ill. He was very loved and his sweet spirit will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Wayne.Survived by siblings and their spouses: Carla and Steve Curtis, Woods Cross; Steven and Susan Devey, Bountiful; Gay and Scott Child, South Jordan; Lu Devey, Price; Mary Hatch, Centerville; Glenna and Richard Jensen, West Valley; 23 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. Deseret News
