Mary Ann Frazier was the first daughter born to James Jackson Frazier and his wife, Gloria Isobella McCristian Frazier. Her first husband was Nataniel Franklin Ray, from Kentucky, whom she married on February 9th, 1855 in Barry County, Missouri. She must have gotten pregnant right away, as she gave birth to Francis Isabella Ray on November 28th, 1855. By the 1860 Federal Census, Mary Ann Fraizer is living back with her parents in a very crowded household. Her infant daughter is not mentioned. Different trees show Nathaniel Ray dying in 1855, 1860 and 1870. Since Mary Ann is back "home" in 1860, I'm leaning toward late in 1859 or early in 1860, before the Census was recorded. On July 29th, 1869, Mary Ann Ray married Lewallen Gilliam Cleveland in McDonald County, Missouri. Lewallen had already been married four times by this point, having been widowed three times (seven children altogether). Within a year, they had James Franklin (1870), then John Ludwig (1872), Joel Hagler (1873), Nancy Louise (1875) and Charles Clark (1878). Lewallen died July 15th, 1884. On March 11th, 1900, Mary Ann Frazier Ray Cleveland became the second wife of William Burle Henderson Wright. He'd been widowed a year before. Their home was 2 miles east of Jane, McDonald County, Missouri, which, at the time, was White Rock Township. Mary had had 6 children; 5 living in the 1900 census. Frances Isabel Ray had married William Ludwig Cleveland on January 31st, 1872. William "Billy" was the oldest of her stepfather's sons, born to Lewallen and his first wife, Jane Eliza Brodie Cleveland. Francis died on the last day of March, 1900, after having ten children. At the time of Mary's death, she was survived by Jim & Charley, of White Rock; Joe Cleveland of Spavinaw, Ok.; & Mrs Nan Slinkard of Lander, Wyo.
