Jean Clifton-Ruzowski White 80, formerly of Amarillo, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in Tahlequah, Okla. Graveside services will be 1:p.m. Friday in Llano cemetery with Sheldon DeVries officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. Jean was born Feb 14, 1928, in Scipio, Okla. She later moved to Armarillo, where she married Ernest Ruzowski and raised her three children. She later married Charles White and eventually retired in Tahlequah. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest, in 1977; her mother, Viola Clifton; and her father, Shafter Clifton; a sister, Rachel Hayes; and a brother David Clifton. Survivors include her husband, Charles White; two daughters, Vicky Duffy and husband Michael of Orlando, Fla., and Ernestine Conoway and husband Leroy, of Greeley, Col.; a son, Larry Ruzowski and wife Micki of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Cynthia, Kathleen, Jennifer, Jill and Jan; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Joyce Clifton of Cottage Grove, Ore.;and Lutricia Lois Clifton of Davis, Ill.;five nieces and nephews, Debra, Julie, Jeffrey, Melissa and Christopher; an aunt, Mattie Franks of Corinth; and an uncle, Otto Beard of Scipio.
