From The Mason City Globe Gazette: Mason City, Iowa: 30 October 1942: Funeral Services for Mrs. Tuma at Spillville Spillville - Funeral Services were held Mrs. Anna Tuma at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Marek. Burial will be in Chicago. Anna Foratek was born in Czechoslovakia in 1862. She went to Chicago when she was 26 years old, later moving to Calmar where she made her homeuntil two years ago when she came to Spillville to live with the Mareks. She is survived by three sons and one grandchild.
