Bio
We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Granny Sue Lasiter Salmon. Mrs. Salmon was preceded by her husband of 37 years, James (Rusty) Salmon, her parents, Lottie Main Lasiter and Harley (Buck) Lasiter and a brother Charles Lasiter. She is survived by her daughter Jana Stephenson and husband Craig Stephenson, grandchildren, Savana Stephenson Battle, and Russell (Rusty) Stephenson, one great grandson Remi Battle, sister-in-law Lynn Brown. She was born in Palestine, Texas. She and Rusty lived 40 years in Winnsboro, Texas where they attended church at FUMC of Winnsboro. She had many wonderful friends from her time in Winnsboro. She also attended Evangelistic Temple in Palestine for the last 10 years. Sue was a lifetime member at Fields Chapel Methodist Church in Palestine. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Roselawn Park with Pastor Charles Kimble officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fields Chapel Cemetery Fund.
