Bio
Funeral services for Charles E. Lasiter, 88 of Palestine, will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel, with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Fields Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mr. Lasiter passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Palestine Regional Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1933 in Anderson County to Harley Lasiter and Lottie Main. He was an operator for Glass Container, and served in the US Army. Mr. Lasiter was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Charles Wayne Lasiter. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Billie Marie Jones Lasiter, daughter Marsha Hunter, sons David Lasiter, Phillip Lasiter, and Jeffrey Lasiter, sister Sue Salmon, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kevin Lasiter, Bobbie Lasiter, Jr., Tristan Porter, Lane Nethery, Jesse Lasiter, and Rusty Stephenson. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Nethery Jr., and Craig Stephenson. Condolence calls will be received one hour prior to service.
