Bio

Graveside services for Martha Lois Hogan will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Greenacres Cemetery in Cleburne with Danny Andrews officiating. Lois was born June 6, 1938, in the West Texas community of Morton to Bert Larue Jennings and Artie Gertrude Melton Jennings, the fourth of five children. She passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at the age of 85. She graduated from Morton High School in 1956 and married Prentis Ray Hogan on Feb. 9, 1963, in her hometown. They lived in Fort Worth for several years before building their home in Burleson in 1967. Ray passed away on May 25, 2022. Lois was a homemaker, but also worked for several years in the childcare ministry of First Baptist Church which she joined on Dec. 10, 1978. She loved to crochet, quilt and paint, watch hummingbirds and take trips with church friends.
