A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia "Pat" Drozd Neu, 81, of Gainesville, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Martin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be recited on Friday at 6:00 PM at the Church. Mrs. Neu passed away January 3, 2024 in Fort Worth. She was born in Tioga on March 7, 1942. She was the second oldest daughter of William and Gertrude (Martinets) Drozd. Pat married Elroy Neu on September 6, 1958 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gainesville. She was a hairdresser and worked at Nocona Boot Company and Lindsay ISD. Mrs. Neu is survived by her husband Elroy Neu; son and daughter-in-law Darrell and Cindie Neu; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Diane Neu; son Roy Neu; son Tim Neu; daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Robert Jones; daughter and son-in-law Terri and Eddie Hughes; brother Bill Drozd; brother Jim Drozd; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
