Bio
Services for Gertrude Drozd, 93, of Gainesville are set for Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Jim Sheridan, O.S.A., officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Lindsay under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville. Mrs. Drozd died May 30, 2006, at Renaissance Care Center. She was born March 17, 1913, in Granger to Jim and Josie Kubala Martinets. Gertrude Drozd was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Neu of Lindsay; sons, Bill Drozd and Jim Drozd; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Drozd on June 5, 1993. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
