Bio

William Glen Willis, 81, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, December 22, 2023. Glen gave his life to the Lord in 2007 at Faith Worship Center in Singer, LA, where he served as a deacon. He was a founding member of DeRidder Bass Club and Beauregard Bass Busters. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, as well as a master carpenter and electrician. Glen worked as a carpenter for HB Zachary, BE&K, Fred Andersons, Caldwell and several other companies throughout his lifetime. He loved spending time with his family, who loved him dearly and he will be missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty years, his sons, his daughter, his stepdaughters, his grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus Lum and Edna McMullen Willis; sisters, Rachel Pearl Slaydon, Nalene Missy Wingate.
