Fort Bend Herald, August 3, 2021: A visitation for Robert Louis "Bobbie" Tydlacka, 74, of Fairchild, TX, is set for 4-6 PM Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, Texas 77471. Robert was born July 8, 1947 in Wharton, Texas to Rudy Tydlacka and Mary Vitek Tydlacka. He died July 31, 2021 in Rosenberg, Texas. On November 29, 1996, he married Diana Lynn Winkelman in Fairchild, Texas. Robert retired from Ecolab Chemical Co. in Sugar Land, Texas. Robert served in the US Army, was one of the founders of the Fairchild Volunteer Fire Department, a master carpenter, member of the TX BBQ Association, and an avid hunter. He loved to dance the polka, and he was the equipment man for his wife's guitar. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Rudy Tydlacka, and by his brother, Rudy Tydlacka, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Diana Tydlacka of Fairchild; daughter, Kim Horton of Lake Jackson, TX; son, Richard Tydlacka and wife, Jennifer, of Brazoria, TX; sisters, Elizabeth Prikrly and husband, Andy, of Beasley, TX, Charlene Svec and husband, Daniel, of Hungerford, TX, Anne Almendarez and husband, Willie, of Sealy, TX; brothers, Leonard Tydlacka and wife, Patsy, of Katy, TX, David Tydlacka and wife, Kim, of Wharton, TX, Raymond Tydlacka of Oklahoma, Edward Tydlacka of Wharton, TX, and Steven Tydlacka of East Bernard, TX; mother, Mary Tydlacka of Wharton, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to offer special thanks to Fort Bend Health Care in Rosenberg, SPJST Nursing Home in Needville, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, for their loving care of Robert.
