Texas Death certificate #52765 Travis county. Jim Joe Patzelt, residence 804 East 9th, born Apr 10, 1910 in Austin, Texas. Died Nov 29, 1933 of meningitis. Parents: James W Patzelt and Alvina Beran, both born in Austria. Informant Mrs F.W. Bollman (ie his aunt - Pauline Dittrich Bollman). The death certificate erroneously has him as Mexican, he was Austrian. This is my maternal grandmother's brother and she named one of her sons after him. Their father, James W Patzelt, is buried in Oakwood, the main cemetery, under J W Patzelt. Their mother Alvina remarried and she is buried in Mt Calvary, section R, in Austin under the name Alvina Walenta. Thank you for maintaining this virtual grave site.
