The Salt Lake Tribune October 30, 2005 page B8 Endured to the End Stanley Vaughn West, 66, passed away October 27, 2005, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born February 18, 1939, in Lehi, Utah to David Ford West and Maxine Doyle. Married Geraldine Hooley in Lindon, Utah August 13, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He worked at Kennecott Copper as a truck and shovel foreman for many years. Stan and his wife, Gerry, are long-time residents of Copperton and have made many lasting friendships. He took great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard and home. Survived by his wife, Gerry; daughter, Cathy (Jimmy) Nelson; daughter-in-law, Ginger (Steve) Conradt; seven grandchildren; brothers, David West and Lane West. Preceded in death by a son, Anthony Ray West. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2005, 11 a.m. at the Copperton Ward Chapel in Copperton, Utah. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and at the church Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
