Obituary from Maxine's memory page on familysearch.org: Maxine Doyle West, 83, of Pleasant Grove, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 1998. She was born September 4, 1915 in Lehi, Utah to James William and Clara Roxanna Sabey Doyle. She married David Ford West. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She grew up in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as Librarian of the Timpanogos Second Ward for many years. She loved gardening and was an accomplished artist. She was a member of the Modernette Ladies Club and also served as a Forest Service Campground Host in American Fork Canyon with her husband. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Fireman's Auxiliary for many years. She is survived by three sons: David West, Sandy; Stanley (Geraldine) West, Copperton, Utah; Layne (Lorraine) West, Sandy; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include a brother, Sherman S. (Neva) Doyle, Orem. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 1998 at noon in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, Pleasant Grove. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
