OBITUARY for WILLIAM "BILL" JACK AGAN William "Bill" Jack Agan passed from this life into the life everlasting November 27, 2023 at Harris HEB Hospital. He is mourned by many; including his wife, Lana Gay (Herrin) Agan, daughters Lorene Jacqueline "Jackie" Agan and wife, Tamara Suttle, BJ Agan, Joanna Grace Nisbet and husband, William Nisbet, LeAnn Griffin and wife, Kathryn Davis, the only son, Scott Warren Greenwald and wife, Amy, and brothers Emmett Ernest "Son" Agan and wife Patsy Kay (Turner), David Earl Agan and wife Cathryn Kay (Patton), Robert Lee Agan, and Donald Ray Agan and wife Barbara Darlene (Ansley), as well as a gracious plenty of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No doubt, he was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by his first wife, Farl Jean Agan (1931-1999), parents Allie Lorene (Honea) (1911-1998) and Ernest Climons Agan (1908-1994), paternal grandparents Annie Lee (Wakefield) (1876-1950) and Peter A. Bill served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict and continued his service as a member of Richland Hills (TX) City Council and Mayor. Bill spent his time carefully as a member and president of innumerable boards. Finally, Bill was devoted to faith and family. These two were the constants of his life. Faith transformed his life, and his faithful life transformed his family.
