Richard Petter Agan, age 86, of Trenton, Texas, died Saturday, March 14, 2020 at TMC Hospital in Bonham. Richard was born January 12, 1934 in McKinney, Texas, the son of Ernest Climons and Allie Lorene (Honea) Agan. He and Peggy Ann Leftwich were married in 1952. They divorced. Richard and Clois Dean Rushing were married August 19, 1978. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He had an incredible work ethic that was reflected in his entrepreneurial achievements. Richard had served the Lord as a pastor, He was a machinist by trade, a farmer, and the owner of several businesses including Agan Machine Shop in Trenton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clois; and a brother, James Larry Agan. Richard is survived by four sons, Richard Agan (and wife, Diane) of Melissa, Rocky Agan (and wife, Cathy) of Blue Ridge, Ricky Pollan (and wife, Susan) of Trenton, and Randy Pollan (and wife, Anessa) of Trenton; a daughter, Donna (and husband, Larry) Mowatt of Allen, Texas; grandchildren Keila Derringer, Ashley Preissler, Alix Agan, Ty Agan, Halie Shepherd, Chelsea Agan, Trevor Agan, Lane Pollan, Renae Pollan, Cheyenne Vines and Kacey Norfleet, 8 greatgrandchildren; five brothers, Emmett Ernest "Son" Agan, David Earl Agan, William "Bill" Jack Agan, Donald Ray Agan and Robert Lee Agan. Memorial services for will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2020, at the Cross Pointe Baptist Church, Leonard, TX. Officiating the service will be Brother Ed Long and Brother Gary Gage. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at Cross pointe Baptist Church.
