Clark, Bertie Stearns Oct 22, 1884 - Feb 17, 1963 Pensacola News, Mon., Feb. 18, 1963 Mrs. Bertie Stearns Clark, widow of Samuel Perry Clark, died Sunday morning at her home, 1912 E. Gadsden Str. Mrs. Clark, a native of Old Warrington, was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Womens Society of Christian Service. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stearns. Survivors include a son, Perry D. Clark, and two grandsons, Perry Clark and Jim Clark, all of Mary Esther. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the First Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Duffey officiating. The body will be moved from Fisher-Pou Chapel to the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Honorary pallbearers will be John Myrick, E. E. Kern, Dan Hart, J. D. Carroll, B. V. Holland, Charley Broughton, C. H. Parker and Dr. Charles Born. Active pallbearers will be Dave Johnson, William L. Warren, Harold Stearns, George Fell, Morey Hart and Dr. Max de la Rua. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
