Frances J. Malish was called home to the Lord on June 3rd, 2023 at the amazing age of 101. Born to Charles Henry Simank and Martha Alvina Melde Simank, Frances Joanna Simank arrived on January 11, 1922. She was born at home on the family farm near Thorndale, TX. She loved her family fiercely, traveling and the wild deer of Northwest Hills in Austin TX. She is survived by her son, William (Sandy) Malish; Bill's children, Sterling (Jennifer) Malish of Carmel, CA, Haven (Anna) Malish of Bismark, ND; Granddaughters Melanie (Jon) Sherman of Rancho Mirage, CA; Shantelle (Tom) Grace of Lilburn, GA; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; Frances is reunited with those who preceded in death: husband, William Marshall Malish; mother and father, Charles and Martha Simank; brother Howard Moerbe; daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Robert Leschber; granddaughter Shannon Lee Johnson and great grandson Brandon Kyle Meals.
