Fort Bend Herald, October 22 2023: Janice F. Bartos, 73, of Rosenberg, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 30, 1949 in East Bernard to the late Emil and Wilma Dusek. Janice was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Dusek, and his wife, Esther. Survivors include her husband, Louis Bartos of Rosenberg; daughter, Audra Schneider and her husband, Keith, of East Bernard; son, Jason Bartos of East Bernard; grandchildren, Kady Schneider and Cameron Bartos; sister-in-law, Joyce McCain and her husband, James; brother in law, Don Bartos and his wife, Margie; sister in law, Cathy Schroeder; and beloved dog, "Bandit". Janice was a legal secretary for over 16 years until her retirement. Her hobbies included crocheting, cross stitching, gardening, antique shopping, as well as dining out daily at all the local restaurants. In addition to these hobbies, she enjoyed keeping up with all of Cameron's and Kady's various activities. Funeral services are under the direction of Knesek and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 5-7 PM at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis, TX. Church service will be on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 10 AM at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, as well. Burial will follow church service at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Schroeder, Don Bartos, James McCain, Pat Motl, Keith Miller, and John Boyd. Honorary pallbearers are Cameron Bartos and Kady Schneider. Janice was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who never knew a stranger. Always willing to lend a hand, she will be greatly missed.
