Bio
Services for Eugene D. Sargent, 68, of Shoshoni, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Community Church in Shoshoni. The Rev. John Cunningham will officiate with burial in the Lake View Cemetery. Mr. Sargent died April 10, 1981. He was born October 17, 1912 in Sargent, Nebraska to Arthur and Blanche (Dye) Sargent and married Geneva Walborn in 1941. Mr. Sargent was affiliated with the Shoshoni Baptist Chapel and was baptized in 1953. He has lived in the Shoshoni area since 1945. His survivors include his wife, Geneva; a brother, Leroy Sargent of Beaumont, California, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Petersen of Hawthorne, California, and Mrs. Dorine Plasmyer of Greenfield, Missouri.
