Mrs. Adair Rites Slated Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Adair, 51, of Midland, a former resident of Tyler, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Carthage. Mrs. Adair died Wednesday in a Traverse City, Mich., hospital after a brief illness. She was a member of Glenwood Methodist Church in Tyler. Her survivors include her husband, G. M. "Ted" Adair of Midland; one son, Howell John Adair, also of Midland; one daughter, Allison Jones of Commerce; one brother, John Lamar Smith, of the Republic of Singapore; a sister, Sue Jolly, of Farmington, N.M., and one granddaughter. —Tyler Morning Telegraph (Tyler, Texas), Friday, December 28, 1973, p. 2
