Bio

Sue Smith Jolly, 82, passed away at her home Saturday, April 7, 2007. She was born in Vero Beach, Fla., on July 29, 1924, to John L. and Thelma Smith. She was raised in Carthage, Texas. She married Hayden F. Jolly in February of 1948. They moved to Farmington in the early 1960's. She enjoyed working as a legal secretary for over 20 years for Austin Roberts. Her greatest past time was playing gin rummy at the Elks Clubs with numerous friends. Sue was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Lamar Smith; and sister, Beth Adair. She is survived by her daughter, Cecelia Dillashaw of Longview, Texas; sons, David H. Jolly and wife, Debra, of Longview, and Patrick B. Jolly and wife, Joyce, of Farmington; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 13, at Alternative Choice, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens. Many thanks to Guardian Angel Home Health Care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
