Delores Ruth Woodfin August 18, 1941 - September 19, 2023 Obituary Ruth was born on August 18th,1941 to Curtis and Christena Whisman in Tulsa Oklahoma. She passed away on September 19th 2023. Survivors Include her sweetheart Joe Logan for 44 years, a daughter, Colita June McNew of Tulsa and a son, Tony Thomas Woodfin and grandson, Orion Woodfin of Jacksonville, Florida along with her sister Doris Mae Pope of Bryan, Texas. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and two older sisters, Esther Effie White of Tulsa and Beulah Faye Partain of Odessa, Texas. Ruth was a native Tulsan, she graduated from Will Rogers High School. She had a beautiful high soprano voice and loved to sing in Church. She enjoyed playing spiritual hymns on the piano. She enjoyed traveling and spent many of the holidays and long weekends in the Mountains of Colorful Colorado with her family in both the winter and the summer. In 1956 she Opened her "Think Success School" and taught her classes with her own original material. She soon gained a reputation as a Motivator! Her many decades of experience led to a very successful career. She was a Prolific Public Speaker, and traveled extensively, and was the keynote speaker to many organizations like The Lions Club, The Tulsa Garden Club, along with various companies as well. She was an independent Business Advisor working with business owners helping them set and achieve their sales goals. Some of the local companies she worked with included Real Estate Companies such as Ted Sherwood Realtors and John Hausam Realtors. She was also a Professional Astrologer known worldwide. She did not believe in modern Astrology. She only believed in Ancient Astrology which is a part of God's plan of action for your life. He created and hung the heavenly bodies into space for His Perfect Timing & Seasons in our life. Ancient Astrology simply helps you to understand His purpose and enjoy life with more meaning than you ever dreamed possible. It will help you to understand the Bible and God's Marvelous Power in Great Depth! She taught that the planets never dominate or dictate your fate, they only influence you if you don't INDIVIDUALLY gain control by a POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE. Her wisdom and knowledge in this area gave her an unprecedented advantage when it came to counseling with various personalities and helping them understand and improve their relationships, including family members and the best timings to consider when making decisions and setting a plan of action to follow through with those plans. She has Enhanced the lives of thousands of people through her personal counseling. Her contagious Enthusiasm of Teaching those Principals that Unlock the Keys to Success, Happiness and Joy in Life. Her unwavering Faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior has been a True Testimony and instrumental in Helping People Discover the Real Meaning of Life!!
